Breathe life into your old CD collection without breaking the bank thanks to Pro-Ject's compact and affordable CD Box E CD player.

The CD Box E finally introduces a CD player to our entry line. Featuring the same beautiful brushed and anodized aluminium front panel as our S, DS or RS players, it will be a sure eye-catcher in your living room. The rest of the chassis is made of a rigid metal sheet assuring stability and immunity against outer mechanical and electromagnetical influences. Visually, it is an homage to our original CD Box, which used the same combination of aluminium front panel and metal chassis.

In contrast to DVD or Blu-ray Disc players, a pure CD player is frequently better in playback of stereo CDs. Inside you can find a true Red-Book CD drive in shock-proof mounting. The high-quality DAC offers fine resolution and greatest sound. Its low-jitter, 24 bit/192 kHz and multi-bit delta-sigma setup boast generous digital to analogue architecture, and this is essential for making your CDs sound like they are supposed to. Just like its bigger brethren, the drive and architecture of the CD Box E enable 1:1 bit-accurate CD playback.

The output buffer with very low output impedance is contributing significantly to eliminating interconnect and cable influences. For even more versatility and no limits towards the top, the S/PDIF coaxial output can feed an external DAC.
