SHIPPING POLICY

OUR SHIPPING TERMS & CONDITIONS

 

General Information

We are only able to deliver to addresses within the mainland UK. 
On receipt of your order we will issue an email confirmation which includes a digital receipt and any relevant warranty documents (where applicable).

We use a combination of courier and Royal Mail delivery and will supply tracking details (usually via a separate email following dispatch of your order).
Orders will normally be fulfilled within two working days* (unless ordered on our express delivery service).

All Vaio computers are special order items with a typical delivery lead time of 3-5 working days.

We will use a next working day* service for all express delivery orders.

*Delivery timescales apply to orders received before 3pm. Please allow an extra day for orders placed after this time.

£2.50 for standard delivery (typically 2 working days*)
£8.00 for Express delivery by courier or Royal Mail Special Delivery (typically next working day*)

 

Orders £50 and over

FREE standard delivery by courier (typically 2 working days*)
£8.00 for Express delivery by courier or Royal Mail Special Delivery (typically next working day*)

Click and Collect – at your convenience

If you live within Central Scotland, we offer a Click and Collect service from our store, Falkirk Sony Centre.

Delivery information

All orders are shipped via Royal Mail or courier.
Deliveries are typically made within 2 working days, should you fail to receive your order within the expected timescale please contact us by telephone or email providing your name, address and order number. We strive to answer all queries within one working day. 

All deliveries must be signed for and we cannot add the option for a “Nominated safe space”, this is to ensure your product is as protected as possible until it’s safely in your hands. If there is no-one in to sign for your order, the package will be returned to the local depot and delivery will usually be re-attempted on the next working day. For orders delivered by Royal Mail any undelivered parcels will normally be held at their local sorting office pending collection by the addressee.

If at the point of delivery the packaging is damaged please ensure that this is recorded by the courier. You may also reject the delivery if you have any concerns that the goods inside may have been damaged in transit. Under such circumstances or if you subsequently find the goods to be damaged please contact us within 48 hours on 01324 630064 or by email using shop@sonycentrefalkirk.co.uk so that we can get you sorted out promptly. Should you experience any issues with your order from the date of receipt right through to the end of the natural life of your item we would encourage you to get in touch. We are keen that your experience should at all times be a positive one.

If you place an order for an item that subsequently turns out to be out of stock we will contact you as soon as this becomes apparent. In such circumstances we will offer options ranging from a full refund to waiting on the next batch of stock or a close alternative item. Should this happen it will be your choice as to which option suits you best and we will at all times be guided by your wishes.
