Transactional Data
In the process of doing business with all our clients we collect a variety of customer data. Such information as we hold is used solely to allow us to discharge our legal and contractual obligations to our customers in relation to the goods and services we provide.

Our products have warranties that last for up to 5 years from the date of purchase. Proof that a product is under warranty is usually required in order to facilitate warranty claims. To that end we routinely retain records of everything that we have sold, when and to whom. We will normally hold this information for a minimum period of 5 years.

It has also in the past proved useful to hold such data even after our warranty obligations have lapsed. Specifically it has allowed us to resolve technical problems over the telephone that would otherwise require a chargeable field call from a qualified engineer.

In some circumstances, it may be necessary to share some of your data with a third party such as Sony or their appointed repair agent. Should this become necessary we will only share such information as that entity requires to discharge their own responsibilities in relation to you and your products. We will not otherwise share your data with anyone else with anyone else unless you ask us to.

Email Marketing Policy
We operate an ongoing email marketing campaign which is sent out to those customers who have previously provided us with their email details and who have also provided consent for us to send them promotional emails.

If you have signed up already and wish to continue receiving those emails you don’t need to do anything. Should you change your mind, you can ask us to stop at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link which appears at the foot of every marketing email we send out. We use Mailchimp to administer this service and we do not share any of these contacts.

Website Chat
In order to manage customer enquiries on our website we integrated Facebook Messenger. During the course of a live chat session we may capture your name, email address and, (if provided), a contact telephone number. That information will only be used to deal with that specific enquiry. If you make contact with us in this way we will not add you to our email marketing unless you specifically ask us to do so. We will not make any unsolicited telephone calls to you.

Website Contact Form
If you make contact with us using the contact us form on our website, we will normally receive your name, email address and contact number. Unless you instruct us otherwise, such information will only be used to answer your enquiry and will not be stored or used after your enquiry has been dealt with.

If you have any other questions about the data we hold on you, how it is used, or if you wish data that is no longer relevant to our contractual relationship with you to be deleted please write to us at our Galloway Court address and we will be only too happy to advise and assist you.
